I think relationships are complex, but yes, women need emotional support in a marriage and want men to lead with grace and integrity. It is also not uncommon for women to marry someone that feels secure or safe in some way, even if the man is not the right fit. When children are involved, it becomes a bit more complicated. Women need to learn to value themselves and not take the safe bet, but the man they feel connected to on a deeper level. This comes with time and life lessons.
