Pain: A Resurrection
Pain, we all experience it. It is part of being alive. We all try to avoid it. We repress it, but it comes back for more. We convince ourselves that if we change our perspective or some external situation, it will just go away, but it comes up again, in another place in time. Sometimes it’s a different pain response to a new set of circumstances, but often it’s the result of unresolved healing.
I am a true believer that what presents itself to us, is there for a reason; to guide us to our true alignment. Pain is the fight. It is the resistance to letting go.
I remember when I gave birth to my son, I thought it was the most excruciating pain I had ever experienced, but I was wrong. My son was a gift. The pain was only temporary.
The heartbreaks, disappointments, and grief I have felt throughout life always felt far worse in the moment. All the pain I have endured has been a labor of deliverance. A freeing of my soul, surrendering to what is and what will come.
In this life, we must bear our pain to prepare for what comes next. It is the cosmos molding us like clay into a new form, so we can meet our challenges with the right energy. Change does not happen without movement and process. It is a labor that leads to love. Self-realization is work. It’s the darkness we are forced to face.
This can apply to the individual and the collective consciousness. We are all connected to this living entity we identify as pain. We all feel it and understand it in others if we remain present and sharply observant. It teaches us about ourselves and others and about our society.
Pain also protects us from repeating past mistakes and furthering our suffering. A careful study of our pain can reveal an intuitive resistance to a situation or an individual unprepared for our presence. Often it is the pain of others that blocks connection and healing. We must trust the universe that the floodgates will open when we are prepared for the rapture that will move us closer to our divine purpose.
Life is magical. It is a multi-dimensional journey in patience, self-acceptance and forgiveness, love and healing, connection, and unity. Every single soul you meet in this life will show you a path. If you fail to heed the calling, it will present itself to you repeatedly until you surrender and make peace with the storm that arises within you.
